Keeping your eight nights organized: How to plan your Hanukkah with Post-it® Notes

For many families, Hanukkah is an important holiday to celebrate during the winter months, and a great way to bring family together around the lights that the holiday pays homage to. With all of the acitivty, there can be a lot to keep track of. Getting things organized ahead of time will help you keep the celebrations fun and free of stress.

  • Gifts for all eight nights

With the gift giving that’s become popular for Hanukkah in recent years, it can be hard to keep track of everything you need to buy, wrap and give during the eight nights of the holiday. If you’ve got a large family, it requires some planning ahead to make sure everyone gets the presents they want – and in the right order.

One of the best ways to keep presents organized is to use a Post-it® Lined Notes to keep track of everyone’s presents. If you’ve got lots of people to give gifts to, you can make one list for each night with everyone’s name and gift. Another good option is to make a list for each person, and simply write the gifts in order by the night you want to give them.

  • Once your gifts are wrapped, be sure to mark which gift goes with which night using Post-it® Notes – just mark a note with the correct number and stick it on the bottom of each present.

  • Prayers

If you’re following the tradition of reading a prayer each night while you light the Menorah, Post-it® Arrow Flags can help you keep track of which prayer corresponds to which night. It can be especially fun to write the name of whomever gets to read the prayer for each night on the appropriate flag.

  • However you choose to celebrate your holiday, we hope it’s a warm and wonderful one for you and your whole family.
