Gallery Walk

Use Post-it® Notes and Post-it® Easel Pads to inspire discussion and explore ideas about novels and other forms of literature.

Ask your students to read a novel or piece of literature with a critical eye.
Stick individual sheets from a Post-it® Easel Pad on the walls. Pose a question or introduce an idea about the novel on each sheet.
Have your students respond to each idea or question using one color of Post-it® Super Sticky Notes.
Take a Gallery Walk to read the collection of ideas on each sheet.
Next, using a different colored set of Post-it® Notes, encourage your students to respond to each other's ideas and add to the collection on the sheet.
Discuss as a group.
